The concept of integrating the novel pasteurizer with a solar milk pasteurization system is shown in Fig. 1. The direct integration approach can combine a solar collector with a pasteurizing system, allowing the solar energy to be effectively utilized for the pasteurization process.
Lazaar et al. integrated evacuated tube collectors (ETC) with a plate heat exchanger (PHE) for milk pasteurization utilizing solar energy. They achieved a 73 °C pasteurization temperature with an efficiency of 80 %.
